Hilary K. Leighty Accepted into the 2022-2023 Lugar Series Class

Krieg DeVault LLP is pleased to announce that Associate Hilary K. Leighty has been accepted into the 2022-2023 Lugar Series Class. For 33 years, the Richard G. Lugar Excellence in Public Service Series has sought to provide a first-class leadership training experience that encourages, mentors and prepares selected women leaders across Indiana to seek new levels of personal achievement and public involvement. The Lugar Series annually selects, through an application and interview process, approximately 20 Hoosier women to receive training in politics and government. Women accepted in this program have demonstrated long-term success, leadership in their careers or community and have an interest in developing public policy.
Ms. Leighty devotes her practice to business/commercial and complex litigation. Ms. Leighty has litigation experience across various healthcare, financial services, environmental, employment, insurance coverage, and municipal matters. Ms. Leighty is an active member of the Indianapolis community as a member of the Junior League of Indianapolis and the Indianapolis Bar Association’s Women and the Law Division. In addition, Ms. Leighty serves on the firm’s Associates Committee.
